Coreblue holds certifications including ISO9001 (Quality management), ISO27001(Information security), and Cyber Essentials Plus (IT infrastructure security). These certifications act as external validations of our rigorous adherence to professional standards and as assurances for our clients, underscoring our commitment to quality and risk mitigation.

 

  1. We have a learning culture:

Software moves quickly and agility and adaptability are essential. Coreblue prioritises continuous learning and development. We keep our team updated with the latest technologies and best practices to stay current with emerging trends and innovations. Our commitment to ongoing, tailored CPD programmes ensures that every team member has access to learning opportunities. This fosters a culture where learning is integral to our operations, with the goal of enhancing service delivery, client satisfaction and the career development of our team.

Accountability is fundamental to Coreblue's operations. We uphold commitments and provide clear insights into our processes and outcomes, building trust with clients and colleagues. All clients are onboarded to our project management tools, allowing them to see in real-time what is being worked on and when. Clients have access to a dedicated project manager and can also speak directly with their engineering team. When a project is in active development we conduct fortnightly sprint reviews and welcome our clients to join them, providing the opportunity for continuous feedback. This culture of accountability ensures proactive issue resolution and effective resource allocation, with a focus on consistent delivery, learning, and process improvement.

 

  1. We are action-orientated:

At Coreblue, we prioritise strategic problem-solving. We use a well-defined, proven methodology to efficiently address challenges, and deliver maximum value to clients. Our approach is not just about implementing solutions; it's about understanding clients' unique requirements and developing tailored solutions that align with their goals. For this reason, we start all projects with a Discovery Phase, allowing us to understand and align commercial objectives and operational constraints with technical requirements. Following Discovery, we move to Development, working in 2-week sprints on defined packages of work to ensure our work is focused, efficient and delivering measurable outcomes at every stage. 

 

  1. We do the right thing for our clients:

Coreblue is a team of 22 full-time employed software engineers and technology professionals, living and working in the UK. We’re not the right choice for everyone, custom software development is a significant investment and we only work with clients on projects where we can provide significant value. If we’re not the right choice, we’ll tell you. 

For those clients and projects for which we are the right fit, we build close partnerships, integrating ourselves into their teams and understanding their organisational contexts deeply. This enables us to craft solutions aligned with the client’s commercial objectives, operational realities and strategic visions. It’s an approach that works well, and our clients tend to work with us on multiple projects over several years.
