CoreBlue, an innovative provider of bespoke software for the public and private sector is expanding. Established in 2016 and based in Plymouth CoreBlue has experienced rapid growth over recent years, adding significantly to their head count and seeking extra office space to house their skilled engineers, project managers and commercial staff.
As their recruitment drive continues, CoreBlue are excited to have recently settled into their larger office in Plympton to house this growing team. This office move resulted in a surplus of stock including laptops, screens, chairs, desks and other general office furniture. Keen to support other organisations across the region, CoreBlue were pleased to donate these assets, totalling around £10,000 to fellow Plymouth based business DBI Diversity Business Incubator. Diversity Business Incubator (DBI) is a Business Hub for Minority Ethnicity entrepreneurs with the aim to support early-stage business owners by nurturing these talents and providing mentoring, guidance and professional business development. Lewis Boyles-White, CoreBlue CEO comments "We have a huge amount of respect for the work that DBI Diversity Business Services does across Plymouth the South West region in support of young (BAME) entrepreneurs, so much so, that they were our immediate first thought when we considered who to donate this equipment to.
We've been following their success closely and are keen to forge a long term relationship with the team so we can support this fantastic venture. As a growing Plymouth based business ourselves, we're keen to support the local community and help develop the next generation of successful South West businesses. It's been great to hear how the equipment is being used not only at the DBI offices directly, but also shared out to startups in the area too. This won't be the last donation we make and we hope to establish a life long partnership with DBI to support their work." Jabo Butera, MD of DBI adds, "Equipment donations like this really do make a difference to the support we can offer to the businesses and people we work with.
CoreBlue has really taken the time to understand us as an organisation so it's great to receive this type of support from a thriving local business who genuinely cares about our mission. We hope to encourage other businesses in the area to connect with us and work alongside us in this way as we raise the profile of Black, Asian Minority Ethnicity driven startups in the area."
